Air Gear - Trick 19

Rating: 7.5/10

Crows: 0 - But we still have some shots of Ringo and Simca. Plus I guess the girl with one leg. No panorama’s or anything though.

Not a horrible episode, but not the episode I had expected it to be either. Parts of it felt like it dragged on a little bit, and the fighting wasn’t super great. One thing I did enjoy though, is Ikki’s style of fighting. He always seems to have fun and is pretty carefree compared to how others would act in the same situation.

Bleach - 93 - Bount Assault! Chaos in the Gotei 13 divisions

Rating: 8.5/10

Well, at least the episodes are finally getting started. I’m not a huge fan of Rukia but this episode goes out to all those Rukia lovers. God knows she needed some quality screen time. Not a bad episode in general, but I want more pwnage!

Air Gear - Trick 18

Rating: 8.5/10

Crows: 6 (Tons of crows, can’t wait till DVD)

This was much better than the last episode. We got to see the wrap up of the first two fights, and also a little bit of everyone else’s fights. This turned out to be a very promising arc. There were tons of good shots in this episode and as much as I wanted to use them all, I was unable to express how cool they were in words. It was pretty dramatic/artsy. I can’t wait for the finale!

Darkshaunz Approves of the Mid-Series Episode!
Score: 9.0/10

Well, Zero no Tsukaima 6 is officially the best episode thus far in this series. This episode focuses on Louise and gang’s mission to scout out the nearly woodlands to try and apprehend Fouche the thief. Fouche being the Green-haired beauty which ran off with a certain “Staff of Destruction”, Chaos theory suggest that Powerful weapons in the hands of Evil people can’t be good for mankind (I am inclined to agree on this one). But there was so much win in this episode, my mind started from neutral and was on full hype’d power by the end of it. It is good to see that the writers have started to inject some plot fuel, character relationship building and no-nonsense action into this one!

Not as exciting as I hoped it to be, but hopefully they’ve got all the plot developed so they can get to all the juicy action that is BOUND to happen. Please don’t let me down.

Naruto - 196 - The Clash of Tears! The Hot-Blooded Teacher and Student Showdown!

Rating: 8/10

The best filler series, in the past 50 episodes, has just ended. I’d say I’m disappointed because in reality it wasn’t even that great, but instead I’ll say that I’m happy that there was finally an “okay” episode. The plot was bad, the writing was bad, but Gai and Lee pulled through in the end to make this a decent episode. Without them, it would have been a total failure.

Air Gear - Trick 17

So…the fighting has started, but they only show Buccha and Kazu’s fight; either way it’s pretty cool. The next few episodes will be the best action we’ve seen yet in this anime. I can only hope there’s more/better to come down the road.

Air Gear - Trick 16

Rating: 8/10

Crows: 0 (omg?)

So Air Gear turned serious again. There was only a few funny portions of the whole episode, yet I was still enjoying it and anxiously awaiting what tragic turn of events might present itself for Team Kogarasumaru. Not a bad episode at all, but I’m sure next episode will be MUCH better since this felt like it was setting the stage rather than delivering the goods.
