    Ringo finally shows her awesomeness

    Rating: 8.5/10

    Crows: 2

And so begins the final event of the series. It seems like something Ikki could do easily, but then again, he has yet to hone his skills. More importantly, Ringo was all over this episode and I was pretty much drooling the whole time.

Forgive me if this entry is a little Ringo heavy, but I just couldn’t help myself. She’s one of the saving factors of this show, so naturally I’ll be focusing on her when she’s featured a lot. Also, everything after this initial action sequence at the begging can be explained in a paragraph, so what else is there to talk about? Ringo!

Okay okay okay! This was fuckin’ awesome. Leave it to Trident’s leader(who’s awesome btw) to do some ninja pantsing at high speeds. Thank god they crow’d Ikki’s dick, although, he commented on how small it was so we probably wouldn’t have been able to see it anyway. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Ikki is small. How sad is it that our legendary hero has a tiny junk…sigh.

I loved when he ran off in a cloud of smoke saying, in a stereotypical echo, something like: “Appearing from the shadows to help is the job of a ninja!” This whole sequence cracked me up. Oh yeah, this somehow helps him to move faster by balancing his weight more on the front of his feet rather than his typical “running motion,” which tends to cause more friction, or something. Go figure.

Here’s Ringo looking cross-eyed at Ikki’s teeny-weeny-peeny. I really like her without her glasses on. I also don’t like straight bangs, so her random bangs are refreshing. She always seems to be blushing too! Still, kind of a weird shot, maybe she has problems seeing without her glasses (which would be a logical thing to be thinking).

The artwork in this scene really caught my eye. She wasn’t actually moving in this pic so all the movement was done in a still frame like a painting or a picture. That’s why this is so cool! Look at her hair, its fucking crazy! Not to mention she just lept over the car(see the first pic) and grabbed the keys out from the ignition while spinning. But really, this is an awesome pic.

Okay, here’s the boring part. Basically, the second half of this episode was them setting up for episode 25. Trident suckered Ikki into challenging them, and then they propose a jumping contest. Omg? Is this for real? Like, could they really be testing Ikki to see how far he can fly? Uh, yeah, that’s the whole point. He’s being tested by Trident to see if he can truly become the Sky King. As you can see, this is a very deep plot twist. If I wasn’t paying attention, I may have missed it!

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen everyone together. It seems like everyone is okay with Ikki succeeding the throne to be on top of the Pyramid or whatever. I think in the manga they have a little bit of an issue with this, but since this is the last arc of the anime, they need to be supportive and loving for their darling “son” Ikki. I wish I had a family like theirs growing up. That’s like endless hotness 24/7. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself!

Next episode is the finale. It’s fun, exciting, and pretty much a big ball of typical Air Gear madness. Woot!

    1. Awesome Stuff Rets.

I agree that Ringo without Glasses owns hard, and hey, I like the straightened hair. Looks wicked sexy. The only other thing that caught my eye is Ikki’s family, they look hilarious.

In fact, they look like they will own Ikki hard if he doesn’t win or something. Scary shit.

Can’t wait to see what happens in the finale.

    2. O.o The “ninja” who pulled down Ikki’s pants wasn’t Iron…. It was the other guy, wasn’t it?

    3. Yeah you’re right ;p It’s trident’s leader. My bad, I only watched it 1 time through so I didn’t really pay much attention to all the details.
