Move Complete?!
Posted on October 21st, 2006 by retsgip - 245 ViewsSo… I’ve finally moved from here. Hopefully nothing’s broken right now and everything works fine without completely destroying everyone’s computers. Lemmie know of any problems or anything since I can’t debug everything. I’m pretty sure there will be a ton of failed links and stuff like that, but I tried to get rid of as many as possible.
Posts should start coming again this weekend, so no real downtime. I was hoping to try and change the way I post pictures, we’ll see though. I might switch to a thumbnail format and post 6 or so at the beginning and then write underneath. But first I need to play with more plugins and fiddle with more of the site design!
Thanks for visiting! Enjoy!
Edit: How could I forget to thank Darkshaunz for another wonderful banner!

Welcome! haha, like I’ve been here long.

Nice job on the site! I like the new header (and the old one was hilarious - the ‘wordpress to animeblogger’ one)
Anyway, I’ve changed the link on my blogroll to this so yeah…good luck!
I’m not sure your new layout is an improvement; it’s flipping me off for not using my browser in full screen, and that’s pretty stupid.
dunno if you’ll ever come back lolikitsune but how big would you find acceptable? 700px width? 756px? Oddly enough it’s exactly the width of my restored-down widow size so i didn’t even think about it. I figured you wouldn’t even bother visiting because your hate for AB is strong.
Congrats on the move! We also moved from Wordpress to Animeblogger, and the amount of freedom you get from being able to manage everything’s great. Looks like you had a pretty smooth transition, I’d say.
Aww Yeah,
New Home smells nice and feels comfortable.
Grats on the move Rets.

Something that scales.

Oh shut up >_
I’ll do my best to figure out how to do some scaling action. This is my first version and I’m still learning about php and css style sheets. ;p Still, I didn’t know you visited my site…I feel honored or something.
Congrats on the move and now you can implement plugins and polls and all that other jazz to make this site more powered up than a shounen series hero. One note, I had problems displaying the site in IE 6 on another computer. It seems like whatever closing tag that follows your navigation buttons (right after Contact) is perhaps missing, because your post content is all offset several hundred pixels from the left instead of having a line break and then displaying directly under the nav buttons. I’m guessing there is either a minor HTML hiccup or perhaps some strange CSS offset value.
I had the same problem and was just about to say…
interesting…hmmmm…100% sure I messed something up since this is the first time I’ve used a style sheet to actually move shit around and stuff.
Gonna take me awhile, and in the end it will only be viewable but won’t be pretty. Apparently IE doesn’t do a lot of what Firefox does.
Unsurprisingly, the site looks just fine in Firefox. It also renders correctly in IE 7.
