Yakuza Chick is bored of Kasuga’s attempts at Riku’s heart

Finally this anime is picking up some speed, or at least felt like it was picking up speed. I get the sense that the peices are finally falling into place and the drama is going to start movin’. It’s like how the beginning of a chess game is boring to watch, but once it gets moving it can be pretty interesting. The same thing is happening and we might start seeing some crazy Tokimeki drama. Mmm, drama.

We’ve got an interesting plot development here. Finally, Amamiya is starting to accept her lovely tendencies towards our main man Riku. There seems to be something holding her back though, and we have no idea why. She probably lost a loved one or something cliche like that and “just can’t love another again.” *rolls eyes*

Kasuga isn’t as dense as I thought and noticed that Riku was spending an inordinate amount of time with Ms. Perfect. Naturally, this made her jealous, just like the little girl she is. Maybe I’m being a little harsh. Any girl would be jealous in this situation, especially after what happens the rest of the episode, and even more so if they were really “dating.” So far Amamiya is winning, but I bet Riku will start spending a lot more time with each girl and the jealousy mutual between the females. All this jealousy will at some point cause a huge eruption of emotion among all the girls because Riku is not “choosing” any of them. I can’t wait for them all to start cat fighting each other and only two words come to mind: Mud wrestling. Yes, mud wrestling.

Oh yeah, true story: Amamiya’s thigh highs are HOT.

I felt like I was watching Bible Black or something…yeah…

His outfit is absolutely exquisite. Where does he shop because I need a discount on one of those belts and I’ve been looking for some formal cross-dressing wear. I bet his hair smells nice too–I wonder if he uses conditioner. *clears throat* Anyways, I still don’t understand Riku’s reasoning behind going to the drama club audition. I understand going because Amamiya said she’d be there to watch and cheer, but I don’t see it as something more important than a promise to Kasuga. Maybe Riku hates to rebel against authority or something because it wouldn’t have been too hard to just not show up. He’s pretty damn straight edge, which makes him kind of unique as I’ve stated before: “not useless but not quite competent.”

I must say Kasuga is kinda cute in her own way–OKAY fine, she has a nice ass. So sue me. Although, I’m put off by her attitude and the way she forced Riku to be her boyfriend, and she also has this super young feeling about her. I know innocence is great to have, but in this case I think there’s a little too much. Just a little…

Still, I kind of felt bad for her this episode because Riku completely blew her off and broke their promise–A PINK PROMISE at that. At first, I thought Amamiya was going to be the one that goes emo and start chopping people up, but now I’m beginning to think Kasuga will be the first one to snap. I don’t know anything about the characters, but it wouldn’t be our of the ordinary to have another box-cutter-babe this year.
