Ghost Hunt pwns hardcore

If you haven’t checked out Ghost Hunt, I strongly suggest you do so the next time you have free time and bandwidth. At first the show seems a little like a romantic comedy, but give it a few episodes and you’ll see that it’s much much more than that. Anime News Network files it under: Comedy, Drama, Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural, and I agree for the most part. If you still don’t find it interesting once you get to episode 5, you can come call me a dick and I’ll accept any punishment you wish to bestow upon me.
The quality of the artwork (done by J.C. Staff) is relatively high, and seems quite stable throughout each episode, which I KNOW some of you take into consideration. The sound is above average, and usually helps to create whatever mood is fitting at the time. I can’t say any music has stood out, but the sound effects kind of creep me out at times.
By no means would I put this anime in the Horror genre because honestly it’s not that scary, but what it does do is create a wicked atmosphere. Actually, you’d probably laugh at this anime if you categorize it as Horror. I’d probably give it Supernatural and Mystery, rather than the huge jumble of genres ANN gave it. If you like shows such as Supernatural(WB is lame, I know…) or X-Files, you might find this anime interesting. I’ve actually only watched a minimal amount of either of those shows, but that’s the best comparison I could find.
In short, watch this anime. It rocks.

I don’t think they can the WB ‘the WB’, anymore xD Never watched Supernatural, but I really like Ghost Hunt so far!
I gave up on this after the 2nd episode. The “ghost” stuff was wayyyy too cheesy.

@Hinano: I thought the first arc was kinda cheesy too. Once I picked up ep. 4 and ep. 5 I got hooked. You kind of also have to just accept things as they come because its fake, right. The second arc is a little more interesting I THINK, but I could be wrong ;p

Agreed, it’s a great series. Likeable characters, nice artwork, a little bit of romance and I really like the intro.

Love the show. Saw it randomly on a torrent site and I’m so glad I decided to download it. The begining is slow but once you get farther in your hooked.
Very entertaining issue. I haven’t heard of this one. It will be necessary to visit you on a thicket!
I loooove Ghost Hunt. It’s so good! I read the manga first n’ then stumbled upon the anime, I didn’t know it was an anime too. I’m on ep 9 right now n’ it most def does not disappoint.

hehe maybe I’m easily amazed by anime, but I was hooked on this show at the first episode. I just had to keep watching it…I finished it in one night @_@;
