Nappa (right): “Vegeta, what does the scouter say about his power level?”

I’m SO glad that Bleach makes up for all the pain and suffering I receive while watching Naruto filler episodes. The bleach story is doing a damn good job keeping me interested in the storyline, which in turn keeps me entertained. I’m not sure why, but I’m starting to like the Bleach artwork better than Naruto as well. Shippuuden better hurry up or I’ll start having a n emo fit.

No truer words have yet been said.
You’ve got to hand it to Isshin for always being so cheery and loving to his kids. It’s not easy raising a family as a single parent, which is also especially hard since he’s male. We don’t know much of his past to this point, but since he runs a medical clinic, I’m assuming he was the captain of the 4th Division (the healers? i think?). Maybe his background has helped him raise a wonderful family, but you can never say for sure. All I know is that he’s a fucking awesome character, and most likely an awesome father. I hope we see more of him later on, which Ichigo finally figures out his secret (if he EVER does). Should be interesting to see some father-son team battle scenes.

Must…see under…skirt *starts blowing at the screen to create more wind*
This scene was incredibly powerful, especially with the way that they set it up. First, we see Sado get his ass kicked (I love these types of still frame shots they do) so hard by a backhand from “Nappa” that he almost dies. Then, they play some sad background music as Orihime powers up and tries to take out the baddies. You ALMOST feel as if she might succeed, but then you realize (along with the characters) that it is indeed futile. Sado and Orihime are so far behind that, at this point, they just get in the way. In any case, I felt that this scene did an awesome job portraying those feelings to the viewer. I was touched.
Now, we just need Ichigo to kick some ass. I predict that the big guy goes down, just like Nappa in DBZ, and the quiet emo Vegeta clone will probably create some problems. The weakest characters always make the loudest noise at the beginning of the fights (which would mean Naruto is weak) and end up going down pretty fast with an “how is that possible” line or look on their face. We’ll see though, I wonder if Ichigo will need to utilize his inner-hollow or if it will take over unexpectedly at some point. Maybe we’ll get some growth from Ichigo in the near future!

lol, well hopefully ichigo does well next episode against yami, but seeing as how the preview has him getting his ass kicked for all of it, its pretty much debatable. Also, next episode’s title is “REUNION, ICHIGO AND RUKIA!” i dunno why i told ya but there it is, plain as day.
If the next episode has Rukia in it….
I am going to download it like a whirlwind. Granted, I was slightly cut this episode because the only Rukia I saw was in the OP and ED.
I definitely enjoyed the Vegeta and Nappa reference, that was very well done. I think Kubo Tite should have gone the extra mile and given them a “Soul Power” measurement device or something to that effect. It would crack when Ichigo arrived, of course.
I hope my body can take non-filler Bleach, its going to be a party.
a LOT of character development and the story progressed nicely…I LIKE!!
anyway though, i was kind of disappointed that ulquirra decided to call inoue trash even after he discovers her time/space reversing ability…i mean, its a TIME/SPACE REVERSING ability! if i were him i would try and use it somehow…
@inuhanyou: Ahhhh, reunion of Rukia should be an interesting plot development.
@darkshaunz: be strong young warrior, your time will come soon.
@Danny: i agree danny. I was wondering why he decided she should die when he was obviously impressed by her abilities at first. Well, that’s what you get for dealing with evil bad guys, they really have no pity or fear of killing random peoples.
so you guys don’t read the manga from your postings wow.
nah chikichiki i read the manga….im up to date too if youre wondering
i forgot to add, that just because i know whats going to happen, doesnt mean i approve of everything and accept it readily…
[…] Bleach: The return of Rukia; I am ready for some ice beam action and awesome bear-thing artwork. The DBZ jokes about the first two enemies amused me. I also like how Ichigo has to don a mask to make the impossible possible. […]
