Thank god he finally left Konoha. Suddenly, the town’s average level of ninja just went up 5% which is saying a lot since Jiraiya left too (stats are fun). Do us a favor and don’t come back next week so that we can watch characters who actually display a small amount of brains while fighting. In fact, why don’t you just toss the Kyubi chakra on over to Lee, Kakashi, or Shikamaru so we can rename the series already. Wait–what I really meant–Good luck training! /shifty eyes
In short, this episode sucked. Since when did Gaara make objects that look like they should be wielded by a warrior (or possibly hunter? lol?) on World of Warcraft? And why didn’t the motha-all-powerful-weapon of who-cares-what-city not dodge the damn attack? Maybe he was too busy talking or admiring the fact that he’s got a sexy voice despite his apparent gayness. Thanks a lot Gaara for killing him because now we’ll never know how he managed to sound so sexy.
Some interesting things to note this episode:
- Jiraiya hasn’t changed a bit
- Kakashi’s part in this Arc was absolutely a waste of time
- Ino takes up healing
- Sakura still looks ugly as sin
- TenTen realized she was left behind…LOL
- Naruto is fucking awesome at cleaning and should do it more often
- Hinata is still annoyingly shy
- They’re only leaving for 2 years because of the fillers
Next week the long awaited manga storyline starts. Should be interesting to see if they adapt the anime to compensate for things that were mentioned in the fillers like Bleach, or if they’ll follow the manga completely. Either way, it doesn’t matter much to me. I still like the older arcs better, when we got to see everyone in action. The new arcs are rather focused on Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and Shikamaru. (oops spoiler?)

OMMMG i actually understand what the fuck you’re talking about! i’m so proud of myself! *sings* and and judging by this post (didnt watch the episode duh lol), it seems like the 2 years of fillers spanned 6 months or something right? and next episode should be when they return two years later right?

Much like I did with Bleach, I’ll probubly start watching the new series if poeple keep saying good things about it.
But I’m sure these 2 years of filler has killed off a good portion of the fanbase.
I mean the Bleach filler wasn’t even a full year and I almost didn’t go back. Though I have to say that I’m happy I did. And becouse of that, I’m more willing to give Naruto another chance.
2007 is definitely looking to be a good year for anime. ^___________^

@bluestreak2: Definitely the fillers almost killed Naruto, but the story does get better. I’d at least give it a try before you give up on it, at least now that the real story is back on track.
@einsteinmonkey: Lol yeah. Not only did he have a penis sword, but he had a vagina chest. Gaara’s “weapon” penetrated him so hard that he burst from what I can only assume was ecstasy. Gotta love fillers.
Best part of Ep0220.
Gaara f***ing impaling Seimei in the crotch for the win. Battle of the “Let’s See Who Got The Biggest Phallic Weapon” for the ‘win’. That alone redeemed the sudden drop in combat ability of Seimei.

..) I still find it disturbing when Seimei is laughing in ecstasy as he sucks in chakra through his crotch-piece.
..) Tenten? Who’s Tenten? Tenten-fans… look forward to being disappointed…
..) BIGGEST COP-OUT EVER. What the Hell is wrong with them? Couldn’t they at least show us Kakashi and/or Jiraya fight the battle?

I would assume you don’t hide behind poles stuttering out your crushes name as he walks by. I find crushes to be so stupid now that I’m out of high school. I guess the social environment of school, and knowing everyone, and everyone knowing you breeds such ridiculous feelings. Being scared to act on desires because of what others may think if you get rejected or even if you become a couple, is so high school.
Oh, snap xD Guess I’m so high school. I had a crush on this guy and I was total Hinata on him. Lack of action doesn’t mean less emotion. It probably even means more emotion.
Retsgip’s Advice Corner:
Next time this happens I advise you to confess. Having a girl tell you they ‘want you like woa’ is quite an uplifting experience for the guy since from my knowledge it doesn’t happen all that often (unless you’ve got special traits that tend to attract people).
Holding onto a crush for a long period of time can also be detrimental to any possibility of the relationship ever happening. You’ll constantly be building this perfect image of the person by constantly crushing on him/her, thus allowing for shattered beliefs later on. The best thing to do is to make conversation and become friends with the person so that you don’t just show up one day and be like “Hey, I love you. Lets get married.” Easier said than done.
The world outside of high school is so much different than the world inside of high school. Nobody cares who you date except maybe your closest friends and your family. If you’re still crushing on people in college, there are better things you can do with your time and emotions.
Oooh, love advice, ka? xD People always tell you to confess, but that’s easier said than done. You all may find it very uplifting to hear that someone likes you, but that doesn’t automatically make you like them back, does it? If a relationship is never going to start even after a confession, holding onto such perfect images isn’t so bad. -totally cynical despite being a hopeless romantic-
I don’t think it changes much out of high school, either. No one may care who you date, but that doesns’t make it any less easier xP
