Finally we get actual seal speed
So, uh, yeah. I’ve been ‘gone’ for quite some time now but rest assured I wasn’t giving up blogging, it was more that other aspects of my life suddenly became more important. Not that the 5 people who read this blog are unimportant, but you know, finding a job and graduating college comes first. Now that I’ve accomplished both (if I didn’t fail), I should be blogging at least a little bit.
It might seem that I haven’t been blogging Naruto very much lately, and you might be wondering why. Well, to put it bluntly, the episodes bored me so much that I wasn’t even motivated to write an entry. Maybe it’s because I already know what is going to happen and therefore became bored, or if that the show just sucks donkey balls. Either way I’m not very motivated, but I’m hoping to be cured by next week with the hour long special. We’ll see.
Some things I like/dislike about Shippuuden so far:
- Gaara’s fight is way too fucking long with not much variety in attack patterns or style.
- Kakashi has uber seal speed and I’d have his children if I was female.
- Naruto somehow doesn’t seem to suck as much in the anime as he does in the manga.
- I’d bend Sakura over and–well, you should be able to figure this one out…
- Too much filler action and not enough quality, well thought out material.
- The art is decent but seems a little too inconsistent across the board. I’d much rather see consistency.
In general, Naruto is getting its ass kicked by Bleach in every way, shape, or form. Even the Naruto manga has been sucking lately and it seems that things are being rushed to finish off the storyline. Rushing a story is probably the worst thing you could ever do but oh well. At least something funny happened in the most recent chapter. Hinano seems to already have beaten me to it, but that’s probably because I was in a drunken stupor playing Sim City 4 and drooling on my keyboard. Yes, Sakura seems to be a yaoi fangirl, Sasuke is in fact Sasugay, and Konohamaru is definitely becoming quite the ninja.

@danny: Yeah, I expected it too. I didn’t expect the Yaoi which is what made me laugh because I knew Sakura was gonna nosebleed.
It just goes to show Naruto is not very creative, since you’d think he could have come up with something like this or better during all that training.
