This week’s episode is Explosive. Looking back at Season 1, it seemed like a quiet walk in Central Park compared to the offerings on the table this Season. Once again, Revy and company had me sitting in my Swivel chair, eyes glued to the screen and mind emptied with exception to drooling at the mad weaponry that this episode had to offer. From Flamethrower to Gattling Cannon, the word “Overkill” is definitely not on Black Lagoon’s vocabulary. Let’s take a squiz.

Darkshaunz plays with some Monopoly money.

Score: 8.7/10

Last week spelled the end of the Goth/Loli/Shota arc of Black Lagoon, so you know what that means! A new arc for the Lagoon company. This week’s episode introduces us to what looks like the “Counterfeit” theme arc. Counterfeiting is pretty much like playing Monopoly Money, except its like for people who have gone “Pro” with it, and thats kinda cool. I found this week’s episode to be as entertaining and there are a lot of new faces which I simply cannot wait to watch further downt he track. If they don’t get their asses blown off.

Darkshaunz heralds the Angel of Mercy.

This week’s installment of Black Lagoon was world-moving to say the least. If I ever had to choose a “Favourite Episode” out of any anime thus far, thien this latest episode would definitely be in my Top 5 list somewhere. Black Lagoon is usually synonymous with it’s gunfare, gunslinging babes and a shitload of blood, but that was all blown away this episode. As I sat in my chair, captivated by the tragedy and the moral-loaded storytelling, I begin to wonder whether or not this is a new age for Black Lagoon.

Darkshaunz turns Safety off.

The Beautiful bloodsport begins this week in Black Lagoon. A truly momentous upping of the ante, another melodious addition to the already quick paced allegro of the series. This week my friends, we were treated, spoiled if you wish. I sat on my cushioned chair, eyes fixated on the monitor, mouth locked in gawk…as I set eyes on what was and will be the most glorious display of arms exchange in post-millenium anime history. Join me as I uncover the Kill Switch.

Darkshaunz reunites with some old Pirate friends.
Score: 7.5/10

Good Evening folks, well it looks like I returned to the Bastion of Retsgipness sooner than I thought! After my stint with Zero no Tsukaima, its time somebody gave the Black Lagoon a little bit of attention. This is quite a fun switch for me, actually, considering I went from Off the Moe-dar action from one spectrum, to a Hollywood-esque shootout on the other. So join me as I shoot a few Mafia members and question whether or not Pedobears are hunting the Twins in my picture.

Since I don’t have a ton of time with the intensive summer courses I’m taking, I’m not able to blog a decent amount of anime. Seeing as I watch like 182,147,239 different shows, but don’t have enough time to blog them all fully, I figured I’d at least give a little write-up of each in a big long post. Sounds fun huh?! Also, maybe when I have the time, I might start blogging a few of these, we’ll see.
