Bleach - 94

Bleach is finally winding down on this arc. The next few episodes will be fighting, or at least I’m hoping for as much. Even though not much really happened this episode, it was a nice doorway for what’s to come next episode: Byakuya vs. Kariya. Oh yeah, and a shoutout to Kon, for introducing us to such a nice young lady with his booby-dance.
This episode seemed more like a weak attempt at humor at the beginning of what seems might be a crazy war…Bad timing? I think so. We haven’t really even gotten serious yet, why would they need to lighten the mood? Well, in any case, pieces are starting to fall into place and the fighting is starting.

Is it just me, or does Ichigo look older this episode? I guess it could also be to show seriousness at that moment in time, similar to chibi-style versions of characters when it’s supposed to be funny. Still, he seemed a little older than usual, and he was giving off an aura of strength. Oh yeah, isn’t Byakuya sexy? I think so. I like how they touched on the fact that Byakuya saved his sister like every good brother should who loves his siblings. I thought it was nice to see him actually care for someone for once.

Apparently the Bounto now have connections in the Soul Society slums, just by beating a few people up. We’re supposed to assume that there’s going to be a pretty big riot at some point between unsatisfied slum inhabitants vs. the Shinigami. Personally, I doubt it will even be that big of a deal since most of the captains are so strong that gathering an army of misfits is just a waste of time. Oh well, whatever floats their boat…and I suppose mercenaries do just that.

Byakuya, being the pro that he is, goes for a walk. This scene, coupled with the last scene, is such a stereotypical fight story. It’s like straight out of a western except there’s no tumbleweed and uh, they won’t be using guns.

In other news though, we get to see 2 sexy ladies! Well one of them is super sexy, the other is just badass sexy. First off, here’s pretty-cute-moe-sexy-lady, she’s got some big boobs…no wonder Kon likes her. I like her voice too, it’s all pretty sexy to me:

And of course we get some scenes of the forever-humorous Kukaku. Great scene by the way. I loved how as she got more and more angry at the two guys that came to reveal some information, they got more and more scared. Naturally, she pwned them with a Shoryuken.

I think the whole “boar scene” where Ichigo’s group had to ride on Ganju’s boars could have been funnier. I liked the beginning, and even when Orihime started fondling the oddly named one. BUT I hate it when Orihime talks too much because her voice is WAY too high and honestly, her squealing of delight while riding them hurt my ears more than any of the boars could have.

It seems Byakuya has Bounto radar because he magically walks straight to Kariya. Coincidence much? NAH! It’s not like they’re THAT hard to find. Hundreds of people have only been looking for them all day, meh. Anyways…They face off like in some old epic Clint Eastwood western movie. I can’t wait for the next episode. It should be filled with some exciting fight scenes that involve both Byakuya and Ichigo. Fun times! Sexy seriousness!? I’m allowed to have one male per series (otherwise I’d probably turn homosexual) which I find sexy, and he’s it. Sexy though!
