At roughly 12:00 pm UTC today, Kyoto animation announced the release of Clannad: The Tomoyo Chapters for DvD-only release, to much rejoicing of down-syndrome fanboys (fuck). However, to make things worse for the rest of us, they have announced that lead Clannad anime designer - Tatsuya Ishihara was now in charge of all further Kyoto animation production schedules. Tatsuya exclaimed in his press release, “I have worked on many high-profile projects with Key, and I am excited to see future Key games line up the full roster of Kyoani’s esteemed entertainment brand. I urge all Key fans to look forward to it and support us like they did with Clannad”. Managing director of media operations at Kyoani Rie Atsui had this to say, “With regards to Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and further releases of Full Metal Panic, we know fans are still eagerly awaiting them. I assure our customers that many dedicated animation teams are working hard for a late 2009 release for both titles, and everyone here is very excited and proud of how both titles are looking so far”.

As I was surfing the vast internets for Rukia hentai doujins and a Russian mail bride, I stumbled upon my Youtube bookmark. I had apparently bookmarked this search for DBZ music videos, because I was told some of them were “intense” and “wicked”. By that, they meant a constant clones of Gohan vs. Cell music videos with more Linkin Park than razors for you to cut yourself with. Some of these guys had Heaps of views, like in the thousands. I was like, “Holy shit!” that’s like way more people than the Samoan Islands!”. I imagined the video creators to be some kind of otaku rockstar, sipping bubble tea served by cosplaying bunnygirls in a capsule corp penthouse. So my dear readers, why are we left out? Why should we not claim this Delicious Prize of AMV-fame by making our own Shitty videos to flood the intertubes?

Fuck Yeah Anime.

To understand where I am coming from, you must understand that I recently read this article. I come from Western Australia where we are totally more awesome than East Australia, where Lupus is from. Here in WA, we play the same things as most Aussies love, Cricket, Footy and sometimes Basketball. But unlike Lupus’s society, everyone here loves anime and thinks that it fucking owns everything else, we even give weaaboo nick names to our players, like “Drirru-kikku-breakaa-chan~”. As proof, I asked a neighbour of mine who had a kid in grade school. I asked him whether he liked Dragon Ball Z, he said, “YEAAH!!” with more enthusiasm than a guy getting laid for the first time. That is infallable proof of the millenium that kicks more ass than the US military, don’t even try to debunk it.

Holy crap what is happening to Bleach? Not just the anime, but the manga too. In fact, the anime is crapping so hard, I think the butts of the creators are sore with failure. I’ve never seen our friend Danny score an episode so low, truth is, I’d have scored it even lower (he’s really too patient). The manga, I’ve nearly given up on it, to be honest (longfight is longer than goddamned longcat). So in my depression and severe lack of Rukia, I turn to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for any hope of an anime I could enjoy for the next few weeks, as I wait for Bleach to stop sucking harder than an LG Vacuum cleaner. I was pleasantly surprised, and figured that if an anime had to be filler, they should learn from Pokemon.

Have the Bleach writers finally stooped so low as to shamelessly plug pop culture trends(rape, emo, and beards) into their episodes to boost their ratings?!? Why Bleach, WHY!? Only a few weeks ago you were sweetly caressing my balls as you coo’d me to sleep at night, and then out came the hammer, with a full double-handed downward motion that made Mario himself jealous. I heard (from a reliable source) yesterday that Mario sacrificed something like 200 Goombas on Mount Doom to appease the gods and bestow upon him the power to swing a hammer like Bleach does–results are still pending.

Somebody pass the cheese, I’m gonna be drinking a lot of whine.

Darkshaunz charges to Victory.

So, how about that latest episode of Bleach eh? As I was sitting on this soft chair of mine, eyes glazed to the screen, lusting to know the outcome of what was meant to be an epic battle. I could not help but think that the two titans, IchiGAR and GARjaw crossed their intents of fate in an galactic-scale power duel, A duel that would forever change the fate of our humble, mortal world, A duel fought on a man’s willingness to defend his women and a duel which knew nothing but strength and magnitude. This was the Battle of 121, the battle that would signal the beginning of a new age in Bleach, where the power gap seems impossible, where the skill seems onesided, a young man would rise to silence his assumed fate. SPARTAA!!!!

So, uh, yeah. I’ve been ‘gone’ for quite some time now but rest assured I wasn’t giving up blogging, it was more that other aspects of my life suddenly became more important. Not that the 5 people who read this blog are unimportant, but you know, finding a job and graduating college comes first. Now that I’ve accomplished both (if I didn’t fail), I should be blogging at least a little bit.

Score: Best Borderline Hentai Trailer. Ever.

This has as much to do with Dragons, as it has much to do with Night Shift Nurses. I downloaded the small 2 minute promo to see what the new series would offer. I ended up watching 2 episodes from the original series because I had a case of seriously bad subs. By the time you read this, I am sure the Raw for episode 1 would be out. Dare I say this anime could be what every otaku has dreamed of, its like the Gift of the Heavens. Boobs, Panties, The Hottest spear wielding girl you have ever seen and Dragons (Surprised?), this anime undoubtedly has it all (seriously).
