Turkey-giving! Gobble-Gobble!

I thought I’d take the time to wish you all a happy “Turkey-giving!” I’m not sure how many people practice Thanksgiving, since well, I think it’s a tradition IN AMERICA, but the intent behind it should transfer over cross culturally. It’s a time where you gather with family and/or friends and celebrate the fact that you have food on your table, and family/friends that support you. Spread the love.
Anyways, I’ll be going “home” for about 5 days (starting the 22nd) and probably won’t have time to update much this week. I just thought I’d let anyone who actually reads these highly jumbled and often incoherent ramblings of mine know that I’ll be gone (this sentence is a prime example of this sentence). I MIGHT update one or two times, but it will be hard to download something and watch it while surrounded by family members who are shoving food into my mouth.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and if you celebrate “Turkey-giving”, appreciate it, if you’re not go give someone important a hug. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Regret is not something you want to live with the rest of your life, so don’t leave anything left unsaid. Tell your family you love them, thank them for their support (even if they have trouble showing it), and enjoy whatever time off of work/school that you can.
I’m not unfamiliar with regret, so trust me on this one. Take care of yourselves. Watch plenty of anime for me. Ciao for now!

Happy Tentacles Giving!
I’ll try not to totally thrash this space whilst you are gone.

by Darkshaunz November 20th, 2006 at 3:04 amI got a strange mental image of tentacles raping a dead, stuffed, and perfectly cooked turkey. Hopefully this will disappear by the time I actually have to eat my turkey. If not I’ll just shove it down with some cranberry slices or something…maybe some wine.
I have no doubts that I’ll come back to all sorts of madness running a muck on this blog ;p
