This bankai isn’t as “big” as I expected

I was strangely unimpressed by the route that this episode took. I was expecting a lot more from the story than this, but I guess I was basing my speculations on the quality of the non-filler arc. I guess I effectively owned myself.
Besides the plot taking a turn towards the predictable, the action of this episode bored me to death as well. It was cool seeing a new bankai, but the fight was soooo fucking boring. God damn. I ended up turning on the television to watch an old Bond movie on Spike to find my source of entertainment. Once again, we see the faults of introducing a type of badguy that uses “dolls” to fight their battles for them. It makes the battles boring as fuck! Kariya’s battles are cool because his doll is like an extension of himself, rather than an uber strong pokemon.

I’m not necessarily opposed to one-sided fights, but they only work in certain situations. Koga is supposed to be pretty strong right? He’s like basically second in command of the Bounto and he even raised them, which I think shows that he’s proficiency in what he does. But alas, the fight was once again one-sided, and there was NO REASON for it to be that way. For example, in One Piece, we get one-sided fights now and then but the enemy is usually a complete dick, OR it’s kind of a rite of passage for one of the characters who suddenly discovers him/herself. Toshiro was just like: “Opps, I just wtfpwnd you, I hope nobody is watching this because must have been boring.”
So very, very sad. Just because this is a filler arc doesn’t mean they can jerk off while they write the script and hope it magically writes itself. Christ, do your damn jobs and at least give us something interesting to watch. By no means am I qualified, nor will I be like those fags who “know everything” and yell at the QB at football games because they played madden 2000 in elementary school, but I can say this was boring and they can definitely do better.
Sorry for the lack of pics and a different style. I’m on a 7 year old laptop which can barely even manage to watch, let alone screen shot the anime. Plus I don’t have an ftp program and don’t feel proper downloading tons of shit onto a computer thats not mine.

I love the name of Hitsugaya’s Bankai, “Great Crimson Ice Ring”. Do you see Crimson anywhere? Cause I sure as hell don’t, Ice Blue is not a shade of Red (Artists, back me up on this). Do you see Ice Rings? Cause I sure as hell don’t, those are Wings, not Rings (Hey that rhymed!). Is it Great? As Rets said, not as Great, looks like he summoned a pair of wings, making him look like a Shota Ice Reptile (Pedobears Unite!).
There is good news in all of this though, if the second in command dies, it just means that the end of the arc draws near and the anime can finally resume the goodness of the manga plotline. And finally, some Rukia action (serious Rukia action), not this filler junk. Also, Histugaya’s Bankai should be a massive Ice Dragon with Lazer Cannons shooting smaller Ice Dragons from them, yeah that shit would be Awesome.
I guess the rings might refer to the three snow crystals on his back, they’re what make up his bankai. Unfortunately, Hitsugaya has a time limit on his bankai: when all the crystals shatter, he returns to normal. As for the crimson, the wings have a dark strip on them in the manga, which might be the red part. Take a look here.
Well they botched that up then, along with most everything else in this episode. They could have even made his death a little more depressing. I mean, he DID just die for no reason because he was basically an ally at that moment. Lame.
Exuse me!!! Yeah, if u wanna critize bleach, then do it in a more polite way… … Is this anime blog for the sake for insulting anime? if u wanna do that, then don use anime blogger… … if u think that Bleach is so boring, then dun watch it !!! Yeah… .. like how many people think that this episode is boring and the fight is no good… …

Not really sure what you’re talking about, but okay.
At least 5 of the 8 animes that I blog religiously, I enjoy. It would be 7 of 8 if Bleach and Naruto did there job. I never hate on bleach that much, so I have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s called opinionated criticism. You can find fanboys on any other blog, but its rare to find people who criticize stuff. I actually LOVE bleach, but I take the stance of a disgruntled viewer BECAUSE I love it so much.
And from blogs and comments that I’ve read, only a handful actually enjoyed this episode, the rest were very “meh.” The 2nd strongest bounto died without even causing his enemy to sweat, is that fun to watch? Not to me. Also, If you could, an episode and/or screen shot of his first bankai would be much appreciated.
I’m sorry but if you don’t like it, then don’t read it. I will always respond to your comments even if its hatemail but I won’t change my writing style. Sorry.
Yeah yeah, his bankai appeared when he fought aizen, big deal. Gotei, who says you can’t criticize anime? Sometimes that’s what people do and it’s perfectly fine, and sometimes you remain loyal to a series you love even though it’s crap since you know it will eventually get better. Or sometimes you watch a crap show just to see how crap it is and bag it. And does a blog hae to be positive about everything? No it doesn’t, and did you ever think that maybe everything Retsgip is blogging is just going through some not-so-good phase? And if you say there’s nothing positive in his blog, then you don’t read it nearly enough.
