    Rating: 10/10

I was going to give this episode a 9.5/10 but decided that it was about as perfect as an episode can get so what the hell, right? Seriously though, this episode was magnificent. I haven’t cried watching an episode in the middle of a series in…ever. There’s only more sadness to come I bet, and I wonder if the anime can manage to get even better than it is now. Who needs pansy Kanon costco burgers, when you’ve got AnH Kobe beef shipped straight into your mouth from a farm in Japan. Yeah, this anime is all sorts of awesome, just like Kobe beef. Btw, the tissue is for CRYING not for FAPING, thx.

I stick by my words in the previous episode blog when I stated that Karada is being a child by running away from home. This episode is one huge wakeup call for Karada and I hope to god she realizes how much her brother does for her. Obviously she doesn’t because she’s running away, but that’s also because she’s still young and “doesn’t know any better.” God I hate that saying.

At this point, we are already sympathizing with Karada, and the rain only makes it worse. Its not like it was particularly sad watching her fail at life for 10 minutes, but it kind of hit home in a lot of people I’m sure. She was in no way prepared for the real world and it really shows, but she’s the one at fault and nobody else. You can’t blame the workers for not hiring someone without a resume or anything. But anyways, by the time they start the flashback sequence, I was already depressed, and thats when they really get you by the balls…

Karada is one damn cute little baby, thats for sure

This scene seriously pwnd me. The death of the parents wasn’t the sad part, but rather it was the first meeting between Karada and Hiro. I honestly don’t think they could have done a better job with this scene, it was simply a work of art. They barely even spoke to each other the entire scene and I was tearing so hard my nose started running. Watching Karada gradually turn into a weeping machine after repeatedly saying onii-chan, plus Hiro hugging her saying yes was just…fuck I’m tearing again WTF!

Oh yeah, and the music! This song is going into my “sad anime songs I listen to when I’m depressed and go for runs” playlist on my Ipod. Yes, I have a playlist just for that. No, it’s not called that but I will change it next time I plug it in. Check out Danny’s entry for a link to the song, apparently he liked it so much that his blog is now covered in man juice because he was just too damn “excited”…

I was mad at Karada for running away AGAIN. Jeez, just give up and go home. Your brother found you, and you’re in trouble. Run into his open arms and grab his shirt and cry and call him onii-chan like you did in the past! What the hell wom–little girl. I guess Karada feels too guilty for “forcing” Hiro away from America where he was living happily with Shouko, even though they’re not blood related. This is some damn juice grade A type drama here. It’s not like “slap yo mama cuz you cheated on me” drama. This is touching drama, and I think I’m in love–in love with Asatte no Houkou.

    1. A Stellar 10/10.

I’d like to note this entry as a Blog First, perfection is hard to come by, and it looks like Asatte no Houkou is delivering the supreme-est of supreme feats. If this one made Rets cry manly twin waterfalls, then by golly it must have been a mover (and Karada’s quite the looker) - Rhyme lol.

Also, seeing as you gave this one the hole in one, its understandable that you’ve been smitten. No doubt Miss Karada here will make a definite appearance on the top gals of all time on your list. I’d like to finish by saying that Hiro’s hair is most likely a sentient being, I believe it calls itself “Jimmy”.

    2. I was wondering why Hiro’s hair had evolved so much since the flashback days, but now I understand- Jimmy is slowly taking over his mind.

Anyway, another great episode, although I can’t enjoy insert songs anymore since watching Tsubasa Chronicle.

    3. Kinda like how I call my nether-regions ‘Little John,’ and then blame anything sex related on being controlled by him. Sounds plausible.

    4. I love how Karada ran away again. Her feelings are far from settled and this way some more drama can be juiced from this amazing show. And yes, it was a very tearful experience T_T

    5. i love this i think that it is very complex and hope to see more art like this in the years to come
