Darkshaunz is freaked out by Mushroom People (not Sporregar)

Score: 8.8/10

After a chain of four or so exciting, rowdy and intense boobtacular combat, it was time that the series took a small breather. It has been postulated that the human male brain can only take so much cleavage and cleaving before it explodes into a pool of caffeinated whiskey (May not be an actual scientific hypothesis). But the series still maintains animation quality and the pristine features of our battle vixens remains. However, it’s taking a slight pitstop for plot elements. Its ironic that a series which isn’t heavily reliant on plot devices has to do this, but its a must, Bounce and Bashing will only last as a novelty for so long (Plus plot advancement means more reasons for them to get naked). So let’s check in and see whats for the takings.

Darkshaunz finds out Maria is a Lady

Score: 8.9/10 (More Panties than a VS catalogue)

The Majority of this episode was in Red. I think one of the writer/animators accidentally spilled his Tomato Juice on the production cells. But that’s okay, because I like the colour red, and it made last week’s exciting Graveyard Kombat a lot more theatrical in a manner of speaking. It’s five episodes into the series and I must say, the fight scene quality and animation has held it’s own and still delivers the same impact of high-octane Boobtastic and Panty-frenzied action from the screen into the minds of the male audience (ladies too, if you’re into that sort of thing). Also, Maria-sama is a Lady, not a guy pretending to be a Lady and Yes, I am as shocked as you are.

Darkshaunz loev Double D goodness

Score: 9.0 - For Both (Burn, Burn, Burning!!!)

If there’s one facet of University life I love, is the calming almost carefree starting weeks of the semester…followed by an Unforgiving torrent of assessment and groupwork towards the Mid-semester. This would be the reason for my delayed delivery of Ikkitousen Double D goodness. There’s nothing like returning home to a tiring, unthankful and hectic day at University and just unwinding to Gratuitious ecchi, seriously. Watching skirts go up, racks collide and sexy voices ringing in your ears is like Yoga therapy, minus the weird poses and with a whole lot more Hawt. Even now, Ikkitousen still has some of the most well animated jubblies and “I see France’s” this side to Tokyo. Alas, This entry will be a brief one encompassing both eps 3 & 4 as I have a bastard of an 8am start for tomorrow’s classes. Shazbot.

Darkshaunz becomes all blurry and tingly

Score: 8.5/10

I knew a subbing company would realize the amount of win oozing out from this series eventually. Thanks to your chums over at Ayako subs, we now have a glorious supply of subbed Ikkitousen deliciousness. Its always nice to know I can watch 2007’s Fanservice of the year with some idea of what the plot is going to look like. That’s not saying plot is the most important thing when compared with Kan-U’s lovely jubblies. This week sees some foundation setting stuff and yet more panty-vision fighting. It’s got a heck of a lot of cliche’d characters, it’s got the most basic excuses for a beat up and more eye-rolling moments in any anime. But you know what? You won’t find a more stupidly fluid and polished fanservice-combat vixen anywhere else. Kleenex tissues are going to have a great run this season.

Darkshaunz runs out of Tissues

Score: 7.8/10 (Add a one when the subs come out)

I said in my previous entry that I would check out the first episode of Dragon Destiny, and so I did. I found it strange that this anime has not been picked up by a subbing company yet (It has Planes! and we all love planes). Nevertheless, we here at Retsgip Anime Blog like trying and experiencing new and dangerous things. For me, this is my first ever RAW, and it serves as a reminder why I should not even Pretend to know Moonspeak. On the bright side, more panties and firm boobs for all the guys (No objections here).

Darkshaunz puts his pants back on

Score: Best Borderline Hentai Trailer. Ever.

This has as much to do with Dragons, as it has much to do with Night Shift Nurses. I downloaded the small 2 minute promo to see what the new series would offer. I ended up watching 2 episodes from the original series because I had a case of seriously bad subs. By the time you read this, I am sure the Raw for episode 1 would be out. Dare I say this anime could be what every otaku has dreamed of, its like the Gift of the Heavens. Boobs, Panties, The Hottest spear wielding girl you have ever seen and Dragons (Surprised?), this anime undoubtedly has it all (seriously).
